Advocating

Helped students and community members who were facing discrimination and unfair treatment find their voices and use them.

  • Started Hate Has No Home Campaign in Pennridge School District

  • Organized community members to support inclusive policies in Pennridge and Central Bucks Schools. 

  • Provided a safe pace for 8 families in Bucks County Schools to share their lived experiences and develop a plan for more equitable outcomes.

Presented and co-sponsored events to bring the community together for learning and support.

Resourcing

Ensured that students have what they need to succeed. 

  • PairUp for Success: Back 2 School Program provided clothing, gift cards, culturally appropriate skin and hair care products and school essentials for Bucks County students in foster care and 

  • Circle of Friends sponsor for the launch of Destination STEM an organization forging a brighter future for students of color.
