About Ruth

Ruth Fields is Director of Regulatory Business System Oversight at Organon & Co. She has been in the pharmaceutical industry for 15 years . Her experience spans various industries such as government, public relations and technology.  Ruth believes “to whom much is given much is required”. She learned at a very young age that we must always reach back and help each other.  Her educational background started in Marketing and International Business at The Pennsylvania State University where her passion for shopping was enhanced but her true passion was in Organizational Development with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion from Temple University. She is a growth-focused thought leader with expertise in organizational/strategy development, cross-functional team collaboration, business analysis and project management. She also has a passion for increasing professional and personal development for herself and others through mentoring programs. As a mentor and mentee, she understands how aligning personal strategies and objectives with an organization's objectives will help build a more well-rounded leader while balancing work and life. 

 

In her spare time, she is actively engaged in her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Phi Beta Omega Chapter where she servers as Co-Chairman for Target 2: Women's Health and Wellness, JM Grasse PTO President, Merck Sharpe & Dohme Board Member, The PairUp Society Board Member where she serves as Secretary, Pennridge School District Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Taskforce and volunteers for international mission trips with her church, Fairview Village Church. Ruth is a born and raised New Yorker, first generation West-Indian American,  who currently resides outside of Philadelphia. Ruth enjoys spending time with her family, husband, 3 boys and dog. Ruth loves to travel, eat, shop and spend time with friends.
